Dear readers, a staff member here has samples for which he’d like structures at temperatures to 1000C. Currently we’ve no means of getting beyond 500K, so we would be very grateful to hear of devices and experiences from anyone who’s done this kind of thing.

A small corner of the web dedicated to the pursuit of non-ambient SMX. This rather loosely includes: superstructures, charge density, variable temperature (both ultra high and ultra low), high pressure, gas and vacuum and of course excited state (laser, LEDs and bright lights).
